Welcome to Jasmine House
My name is Jane Brewer, I am the Registered Manager at Jasmine House. I have gained a lot of experience over the years, working with many different individuals, all unique and all special.
At Jasmine House we strive to create a culture of learning, and continuous development within a safe, positive risk-taking environment, which is developed through the Personalisation Agenda. Our residents are supported and encouraged to look for and try new activities and opportunities to develop and grow as individuals. We achieve this by providing highly qualified, diverse and professional team who develop a responsive, safe, effective and consistent person-centred approach. We value our residents’ choices, enabling and promote positive risk taking that is an empowering tool and helps with development of a healthy self-esteem.
We actively listen and respect people’s choices, this enables individuals to grow and develop feeling valued, feeling like their opinions and choices really matter. Jasmine House is the residents’ home for as long as they want it to be, their aspirations and choices matter and we are here to listen and support them.
Our moto at Jasmine House is “look at my ability not my disability”. This is a saying from one of our residents. This is what we do at Jasmine House.

I have been a resident at Jasmine House for 7 months and think it is a really nice care home and environment. What I like here is that I get to lead my own independent life and I am able to choose what I wish to do with my weekdays and weekends. For example, with the support of staff, I have been able to access adult education in Farnham. Staff have helped me and my family adapt my bedroom for my needs and personalise my room. I feel valued. I work with staff to help support my physical and dietary needs and to support the staff I have joined a local group.
I feel that the staff at Jasmine House provide my brother with excellent care and the staff go above and beyond to ensure he is comfortable and is able to do things he enjoys.
I feel that my son receives the highest standard of care and support both physical and emotional support. His health care needs are met appropriately and in my son's best interest. Communication between Jasmine House and myself is excellent. I highly recommend all the staff and manager, thank you.
I visit Jasmine House a lot to see my goddaughter. I am always welcomed by the staff and given a cup of tea.
My son has complex needs which are challenging, however, he has settled as a resident far more easily than I expected thanks to the manager and the staff. Communication is excellent. I am kept informed about therapy, appointments and the outcomes as well as day to day activities. The staff are well trained, kind and caring and are happy to go the extra mile if needed. My son feels safe and his dignity is a priority. The house and staff are very well managed, overall my son is content and I am happy and relieved.
Perfect size house for our son's needs. Very well equipped and extremely accommodating with everything, including adjustments to rooms etc. Staff all friendly and professional. Communication is amazing. All staff understanding and patient. Our son is very happy here. Definitely a happy calm home environment.
Health needs were reviewed due to poor health. This resulted in a positive outcome. My carers and house manager were all excellent in providing care over and above their normal duties and ensuring that all the relevant healthcare professionals were informed and involved as necessary.
My son has complex physical and learning disabilities and has been very well cared for at Jasmine House for over 2 years. I am confident that his safety and dignity are always upheld. The staff are always friendly and professional and will often go the extra mile to meet my son's needs, particularly during this time of pandemic when everyone has worked so hard to keep the residents safe. Jasmine House is well managed, communication is excellent, open and transparent. Thank you to all.
