Welcome to Jasmine House

My name is Jane Brewer, I am the Registered Manager at Jasmine House. I have gained a lot of experience over the years, working with many different individuals, all unique and all special.

At Jasmine House we strive to create a culture of learning, and continuous development within a safe, positive risk-taking environment, which is developed through the Personalisation Agenda. Our residents are supported and encouraged to look for and try new activities and opportunities to develop and grow as individuals. We achieve this by providing a highly qualified, diverse and professional team who develop a responsive, safe, effective and consistent person-centred approach. We value our residents’ choices, enabling and promoting positive risk taking that is an empowering tool and helps with development of a healthy self-esteem.

We actively listen and respect people’s choices, this enables individuals to grow and develop feeling valued, feeling like their opinions and choices really matter. Jasmine House is the residents’ home for as long as they want it to be, their aspirations and choices matter and we are here to listen and support them.

Our motto at Jasmine House is “look at my ability not my disability”. This is a saying from one of our residents. This is what we do at Jasmine House.
